UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION PRESS NOTE RESHEDULING OF THE CIVIL SERVICES(PRILIMINARY EXAMINATION, 2021)   Due to the privailing conditions caused by the Novel Corona Virus(COVID-19),   the Union Public service Commision has deferred the Civil Services(Priliminary) Examination, 2021,  which was scheduled to be held on 27th June, 2021.  Now, this Examination will be held on 10th October, 2021.


Civil Services Examination (CSE)/Indian Administrative Service (IAS)

Civil services is the body of government officials who are employed in civil occupations that are neither political nor judicial. These officers selected and promoted on the basis of a merit ,seniority and examinations.

(Civil services examination) CSE in India is one of the several examination conducted by UPSC for the recruitment of All India Services like IAS, IPS , IFoS and Group A services like IFS , IRS etc

Civil Services Examination (CSE) in India is conducted in three phases:

Preliminary examination (Objective-type)

Main examination (Descriptive- type)

Personality test (interview )
